It is naive to think that when you create a one way backlink that Google will find this link, index it and pass on link juice to your website. Of course that’s the ideal and in a lot of cases this is exactly what happens, but not always. Sometimes, for whatever reason, your backlinks simply won’t get picked up, and even those that do may be very weak links that don’t really help your website rank better.
This is where Pingback Optimizer comes in, a very cunning wordpress plugin that allows many of your backlinks to get indexed and boosted.
How does Pingback Optimizer work?
First let’s establish what a pingback is. A pingback is a notification to you that someone has linked to your wordpress site. What’s cool about this is that you also get notified of the website that created this backlink. Pingback Optimizer will take all these pingbacks and generates RSS feeds which essentially build backlinks to these links forcing them to be indexed. What’s even smarter is that even if these links are already indexed they will be boosted, giving them even more power.
Pingback Optimizer is a very simple plugin. Once installed you simply enter the license information and let it process all your existing pingbacks, you may have quite a lot if your site is a number of years old.
You can then configure the Pingback Optimizer to work in the background picking up pingbacks and submitting them at a rate you can specify. So as you get new pingbacks, the plugin will automatically process them as well. Very powerful stuff.
My favourite feature of this software is the ability to extract all the pingback URL’s so you can feed them into a 3rd party boosting application. I highly recommend Backlink Booster for this, read my review on this here. This can give those links a huge boost and thrust your website to the top of Google very quickly.
Pingback Optimizer is a great wordpress tool and if you are very serious about your internet marketing I’d highly recommend this product, especially when working in tandom with the Backlink Booster.
